Our Process

We work with you collaboratively to create the design and build solutions you need, ensuring you’re happy with the progress every step of the way. Our exceptional building standards and project management expertise help make the process as seamless and stress-free as possible.

Scope of works

We meet with you to understand your needs & clarify our role in your project. This would typically be before you have consent, you may or may not already be in the design process with an Architect.

Once we decide that we like each other enough and would consider working together I will create a scope of work document and a preliminary budget.

This costs between $500 - $2,000 depending on the size & complexity of the project. If you choose to go ahead with us we refund this cost.

Project Management

Planning is everything in today's environment. We manage the entire build & work collaboratively with your Architect & Interior Designer.

Once we have a signed contract we will put together a full project schedule, in this i will detail dates for sub contractors, estimated stage completion dates & even dates we need to order materials to avoid delays.

Begin Work

This is our time to shine and when all the preliminary work pays off. We handle the project from start to finish, keeping you updated along the way. We have a team of experienced builders who are great to have on site.

Mod Builders renovated what was our entry level first house, transforming it into a bespoke family home. Mike had the vision to raise our ceiling in the living area, exposing the trusses and adding sky lights which was the master stroke for changing the house from '80's kit set' to feeling architecturally designed.

We used MOD Builders for our Bungalow renovation which was a 7-month project. We have used MOD Builders for previous building work. Mike was pro-active in communicating any issues and progress of work. Solution focus approach. Any unexpected issues that arise during a renovation were not treated as a problem but “how to best solve this".

The building team were a bunch of top guys who we not only trusted but enjoyed being around. They are well connected with many sub trades which also made the build run smoothly. Mod builder have done a great job for us and we have already recommended them to our friends.
